Steve Douglas, H.I.S. (Hearing Instrument Specialist), was diagnosed with hearing loss in 1990. He received his first set of hearing aids at the young age of 30. Because of his new-found life of sound, in 1990, Steve became an advocate for the hearing aid industry and a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist.
He loves to help others find the same new-found life of sound! He has been known to say, “You don’t know what you’re missing because you don’t know what you’re missing.” Steve graduated from Northrop High School in Fort Wayne, IN, and attended ITT Technical Institute, Electronics Engineering. Even with his substantial hearing loss, Steve is an avid musician who plays guitar and drums and sings; he loves performing for audiences of all ages. He also enjoys snow skiing, ocean fishing, and the great outdoors. Steve is the President and CEO of Hearing Aids Plus, USA, the Vice President of ‘The Network’ Business Networking Group, a board member for the Indiana Hearing Aid Alliance, a father, and a husband.
